Jessica was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her interest in healthcare started as a teenager when she learned about how chronic disease could be prevented with lifestyle changes. It was this interest that led her to explore a variety of fields in healthcare. She attended the University of New Mexico for her undergraduate degree. She graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and a minor in Chemistry and then went on to become a registered dietitian. She later decided that she wanted to expand her scope of practice and learn the art of medicine. Jessica attended the University of St Francis for PA school and graduated in 2021 with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. It was through her studies that she discovered her love and interest for dermatology. Jessica believes the skin is such a complex organ system and is so important to the overall health and self-esteem of people of all ages.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors, including hiking and running.
